PASSIONATE ABOUT
HELPING OTHERS
My faith is the foundation for my desire to see others through to wholeness. While the Christian faith is what I practice,
I welcome those from various backgrounds and faiths.

My culture has significantly shaped who I am. I was born in the Philippines, and grew up in the US in a Navy family.
My family's travels afforded me the opportunity to encounter people of various ethnic groups and values. As a bi-cultural woman, my own experiences have helped me understand some of the multifaceted issues that people of mixed races face.

I am passionate about supporting those who have had difficulty finding their voice or have lost it. I have served in various helping capacities since 2005. My work and life experiences called me to the human services field where I eventually earned my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Trinity Western University. While at Trinity, I completed my internship at Catholic Community Services in the community mental health department as well as the Recovery Center. I also helped co-facilitate a women's group at the Agape House. In 2017, I stepped into what I believe is my calling and began serving others in a counseling capacity.

Some of my professional interests include: women's issues, multicultural issues, and grief and loss. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and I pursue continuing education to stay informed and further my learning.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors, connecting with friends, enjoying a good meal, walking, biking and deepening my spiritual practices. I also love a good song and the closest people to me have witnessed the power of music call me to the dance floor!
